Terms of use and mobile app terms
These terms cover use of X-Ploy public sites, CRM services, and the X-Ploy Technician mobile app.
Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to X-Ploy public websites, CRM products, client and service workflows, and the X-Ploy Technician mobile app. By accessing or using X-Ploy, you agree to these terms and any applicable tenant, employer, subscription, or service agreement.
If you use X-Ploy through your employer or another organization, your access may be controlled by that organization. The organization may manage your account, permissions, job assignments, records, communications, and retention rules.
Accounts and authorized use
You must use X-Ploy only as authorized by X-Ploy or the tenant business that invited you. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account.
Do not access customer, technician, tenant, payment, communication, job, or business records unless you are authorized to do so for legitimate business purposes.
Technician mobile app license
Subject to these terms, X-Ploy grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the X-Ploy Technician mobile app on Apple-branded products they own or control, or as otherwise permitted by Apple's App Store terms.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, bypass security controls, use the app to build a competing service, or use the app outside authorized business workflows.
Field activity, location, and work records
The technician app supports clock-in and clock-out, appointment workflow, route and ETA support, job-site prompts, time segments, notes, photos, parts, and related work records.
If location permissions are enabled, location may be used while clocked in or actively working an appointment to support job evidence, route workflow, on-site/off-site/parts-run status, and operational reporting. Tenant businesses may require location access for active shift workflow, but must not use X-Ploy to unlawfully monitor people or collect data outside authorized work purposes.
Calls, texts, recordings, and AI-assisted notes
Customer communication features are intended to use company-routed channels configured by the tenant business. Technicians should not use personal-device SMS or native outbound dialer fallbacks for customer communication when X-Ploy company-routing is provided.
Company-routed calls and messages may be logged, recorded, transcribed, summarized, or converted into AI-assisted notes when configured. Users and tenant businesses are responsible for following applicable consent, recording, employment, and communications laws.
Content and acceptable use
You are responsible for notes, photos, messages, files, and other content you submit. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive, private, or unrelated material.
Do not use X-Ploy to spam, harass, impersonate others, interfere with systems, scrape data, bypass access controls, upload malicious code, or violate third-party rights.
Third-party services
X-Ploy may connect with third-party services for hosting, app distribution, messaging, calling, email, payments, maps, CRM sync, authentication, analytics, or diagnostics. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability of third-party integrations can change, and tenant features may depend on correct provider configuration, permissions, credentials, and subscription status.
Ownership and feedback
X-Ploy and its licensors retain ownership of the software, designs, trademarks, workflows, and documentation. Tenant businesses and users retain rights they have in their business records and submitted content, subject to the access and processing needed to provide the service.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or improvement ideas, X-Ploy may use them without restriction or compensation unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Availability, disclaimers, and limits
X-Ploy is provided for business operations and may depend on networks, devices, app stores, tenant configuration, providers, and third-party APIs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or complete availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, X-Ploy is provided as is and as available, without warranties beyond those expressly stated in a separate written agreement. X-Ploy is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages except where prohibited by law.
Suspension, termination, and changes
Access may be suspended or terminated if required by a tenant administrator, security concern, legal obligation, provider limitation, nonpayment, misuse, or violation of these terms.
We may update these terms as products, laws, providers, or workflows change. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
Apple terms
If you download the X-Ploy Technician mobile app from Apple's App Store, Apple is not responsible for maintenance, support, claims, investigations, or liability related to the app, except as required by Apple's own terms and applicable law.
If no custom App Store end-user license agreement is provided, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these terms.
